I'm raising funds for Cleveland Pools, a 200-year old lido in Bath that's being restored for the local community.
Every day in the lead up to Christmas I’ll be opening a virtual door on our advent(ure) calendar to reveal a challenge to take on. The 25 challenges range from the sublime to the ridiculous and are inspired by 5 themes: Swim, Chilly, Story time…, Nature and Wildcard.

First dip of the challenge - a birthday swim at Warleigh Weir. And it was desperately cold! Also banged my knee on a boulder and got caught in a tree. However I finally saw the fabled kingfisher!
