Hello we are Susanna & Mike - recently married and positively coercing each other along to swim 1 mile for this wonderful cause - Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust (WBVT).
Having met in the sunnier and warmer climates of Dubai where the sea water is renowned for reaching near bath temperatures, we have now decided to choose more moderate waters to compete this fabulous challenge! Not phased by the big occasion we're cautiously excited about the race day in Hyde Park and hoping for as much support as possible.
We are looking to raise a minimum of £2,000 as this will secure over 10 homes of the elderly, vulnerable and those that have been victims of domestic abuse who live in Wiltshire. The mission of the WBVT is to keep people safe within their homes as well as providing Stay Safe Online advice. Do have a look at their website, the work they undertake in the county is awesome.
Please give generously, we are not natural water babies but are naturally up for this. Cannot wait for fun race and a well deserved lunch afterwards!
