Hello,
This is the FUNdraising page for #TeamFUN (Donna, Emmi & Jess)
Families United Network is a charity close to all of our hearts.
"Bringing up children and young people with disabilities and special needs can be demanding as well as rewarding. Some children may present particular challenges or require intensive care and support.
The Holiday Clubs are a lifeline and offer practical support for families, offering friendship and support for parents & carers – and a range of creative, stimulating and FUN activities for special needs children and young people and their siblings."
This is just one of the invaluable services the charity provides. They have just moved into new premises meaning they continue to grow as a charity, all the projects can be run under one roof and they can and will be able to support more families.
The staff and volunteers are amazing and we are hoping that by running 5km around Victoria Park, London dressed as Santa on Sunday 6th December 2015, we can raise some vital FUNds!
We know this isn't a marathon, a trek up a mountain or a cycle ride to Paris but it will still be a challenge for us and hopefully FUN!
So dig deep people, please give whatever you can and help us achieve our target!
