Over the past year running has been really important to me as it's been vital to my mental health and kept me going through some tough times. When my friend Richard Perry suggested this challenge, running 27 miles along the Templer Way & finishing in Torquay it seemed like a crazy idea but it became something that I could work towards and look forward to - as odd as that sounds!
I've never done anything like this before and honestly don't know if I can but on the 3rd October 2020 I'm going to give it a go and I'm determined to get to the end.
My wife Lisa suggested setting up this page to raise money for The Blurt Foundation which is based in Plymouth and dedicated to helping those affected by depression. It's been a source of practical help for me and this is my way of saying thank you.
Well done Jim, so proud of you, such a brave thing to do. Alison & Rob
