Dragon Boat Race - EVENT CANCELLED

Hug in a Bag is a charity that made a huge difference to one of our practice team when she was diagnosed for the second time with breast cancer. It put a smile on her face at a very difficult time, just before she started her chemotherapy. As a Practice we have chosen to raise some money to help provide more bags of happiness. Please sponsor out team of staff and their family members who will be stepping out of their comfort zone and racing a dragon boat against teams from across the North East. Our Dragon Boat target is £1500. Please support us to achieve our goal. Thank you The team all turned up prepared for the racing on one of the only days of the summer (so far) where the weather was challenging. The rain wouldn't stop us but unfortunately the wind was strong and getting stronger so the Dragon ? Boat company called the race off for safety reasons. It is potentially rescheduled for 23rd September 2018. Thank you for the support so far. THIS EVENT HAS NOW BEEN CANCELLED BY THE ROTARY CLUB.
