The TheatreFriends programme is a vital lifeline to the theatre building. The funds raised by the TheatreFriends pays for investment in the building that enhances the audience experience, whether it's new seats, a redesigned bar or replacement curtains.

Proud of its rich 207-year history, the Marine Theatre is keen to be an asset to Lyme Regis for another 207 years. But maintaining a building this old takes a lot of investment. Whilst the Theatre isn't listed, it's certainly listing! Which is why we need your help!

With help from the TheatreFriends programme, the Marine Theatre is fundraising for new chairs. The ones you currently sit on are in bad condition and need to be replaced. With your help we can buy a new model that not only enhances the look of the auditorium but offers more comfort too!
