Y Galon is an age-friendly community hub on The Broad Shoard, Cowbridge, a warm and welcoming space for the whole community. Run by With Music In Mind, its aim is to positively impact the community of Cowbridge and the Western Vale. Ahead of our official launch event on 11th July, we already offer social and support groups, gentle exercise, crafts, digital skills, a choir, soup lunches, information, volunteering, and much more.
Despite the many continuous and varied running costs, including staffing, refreshments, craft supplies, soup lunches, sheet music, and lots more, we make our activities as low cost as possible to attend, and most completely free, so that money is never a barrier to accessing our services.
If you would like to donate towards these ongoing costs, and support us in continuing to offer free/affordable activities to reduce loneliness and improve wellbeing in our community, to show our gratitude we offer the following:+ For £20 we will add your name to our donors' book, on display at Y Galon
+ For £50 we will add your name and a short message of your choice to our donors' book
+ For £100 your name will be put on our donors' wall, inside Y Galon
+ For £1000 your name will be put on a plaque outside the entrance to Y Galon
+ For £3000 you can sponsor the kitchen and your name will put on a sign stating as such
+ For £3500 you can sponsor the disabled toilet and your name will be put on a sign stating as such
+ For £13000 you can sponsor the disabled access ramp and entrance and your name will be put on a sign stating as such
