Our Community Matters Fund grant partners National Grid Electricity Distribution own and operate the electricity cables and wires in the Midlands, the South West and South Wales. Their core focus is helping customers during power cuts and they do this thorough their Priority Services Register (PSR) – but they also do lots of other work engaging with agencies and partners such as yourselves to deliver fuel poverty support, power cut advice and more.

The poster explains who is eligible to join the register and the support National Grid can give them should they be affected by a power cut. Using trusted partners such as yourselves allows National Grid to reach those people who might need support in a power cut but who might not know about the register. If you are not already one of National Grid’s ‘referral partners’ (an agency who helps people to understand more about, and join, the PSR) you can find out how to become one here.
