Our mission is to bring back to life the iconic Edwardian Nechells Baths building, preserving its Grade 2 listed heritage; creating a sustainable community asset where residents, voluntary groups, public sector agencies, private sector businesses and social enterprises work together to bring about lasting local regeneration. We aim to 'make an impact on reducing local unemployment, working with our partners to increase access to education, advice, training, job opportunities etc.

Why the community needs us

NRP benefits the communinity by providing high quality, affordable office and room-hire combined with access to funding and development support to local community organisers and voluntary sector groups. It provides access to advice and training to the unemployed, a safe community space with a nursery and community café where children and families from Nechells' rich diversity of cultural traditions can learn together, make new friends, have fun and foster good relations between each other.

Our impact on the community

NRP was able raise over £5 million to bring the Edwardian Grade II building back into use at a point when it had become derelict and a health & safety liability. Its now being used by variety of community groups these include: - Pertemps People Development Group (PPDG), an employment and training advisory service - Tiny Feet Nursery - Nechells Community Kitchen/cafe - Brilliant Brains Project, providing family learning and young people projects and workshops
