Why the community needs us
We offer opportunities for young people to safely take part in sport, to safely volunteer in the delivery of sport and other activities including Dynamic Youth and Youth Achievement Awards. We support volunteers to become sport specific trained, child protection aware, PVG scheme members, insured and equipped to deliver quality sport activities for young people. We deliver sessions during school health weeks, festivals, gala days and SAPC specific sessions ALL free or at very low cost to the young person taking part.
Our impact on the community
Health weeks we provide Badminton, Cricket, Football, Netball & Table Tennis for 900 pupils. Festivals and Gala days we deliver sessions for 100 - 250 young people. SAPC sessions we deliver to 250 young people in various sports on a weekly basis. We are a recognised Sport Scotland Community Sports Hub, Glasgow Life Club Mark. We are a member of Glasgow Sports Council. We are members of Youth Scotland, a registered Participating Unit for delivering Youth Achievement Awards.
