Winchester Action on the Climate Crisis (WinACC) works tirelessly to fight climate change across the whole of the Winchester district. 

We work on a range of projects and campaigns, that will have the biggest impact on reducing the harmful greenhouse gas emissions where we live. Current projects and campaigns are on topics such as transport, heating our homes, food and renewable energy.

We play an important role in Winchester district. 

We have climate experts who volunteer their time to provide in depth reports and information about where the most harmful emissions that cause climate change are coming from locally. We then use this evidence to work with a wide range of stakeholders, such as councillors, business leaders, university staff, community groups and others to help them tackle these emissions.
