Welcome to the Friends of the Russell School!

The school needs your support – please support us with a regular monthly donation so the Russell School can provide the best educational experience for our children.

As a guide, a monthly donation of £30 per child would make a huge difference. Anyone who is unable to make this level of donation is of course welcome to contribute a smaller amount, and larger donations are gratefully received if your circumstances allow.

Please note that you don't have to pay the platform fee on top of your donation - just click "enter custom amount" and set that to 0.

We have two independent funds, each serving different functions within the school. Both funds operate through the “Friends of The Russell School” charity, with donations to both collected through Local Giving for ease of use.

The Russell School receives its funding from the government on a per-pupil basis, but student numbers are much lower across the UK than they have been in the past. School budgets are being stretched to cover increasing overheads, meaning the school must make difficult decisions on what can be prioritised.

The income from the Education Fund is allocated at the discretion of our amazing headteacher Mrs Brooks to ensure we can continue to provide a creative, exciting curriculum for our children.

We really appreciate the contributions of of those families who are able to donate to this voluntary fund.
