The Old Town Hall, then Trowbridge Town Hall, was opened in 1889 for "the benefit of the residents of the town for ever". In 2012, a Trust was formed to secure the long term future of the building and to ensure that it continues to benefit the people of Trowbridge. Our aim is to reach as many people as possible, by delivering what the people of the town would like to see in their building, making The Old Town Hall a vibrant hub for the community. 136 years ago, the The Old Town Hall was opened for the residents of Trowbridge.
