So in just under a month, when it has just got cold. I will be taking on the challenge of swimming for two miles through goose infested waters. I have deliberately chosen a picture of myself that clearly shows I do not have the physique to do this, between the lack of fitness asthma, and hatred of cold water I am really not sure why I am doing this!

You may know I have the privilege of leading the team at Bow Foodbank, and I am continually blown away by the hard work and dedication that our volunteers put into make their community a better place. So I guess now it's my turn to put in the hard work.

The team at the foodbank do a fantastic job of making sure no one goes without food, but in recent years we have increased what we do to support guests with advice and guidance, baby feeding support, volunteering opportunities and much much more.
