On Saturday 27 June, all of Scotswood Garden’s groups will be coming together to walk 30 miles along the Hadrian’s Wall route.
We’re walking together, not only to raise money, but also for nature and wellbeing. Slowing down. Noticing more. And celebrating 30 years of Scotswood Garden.
Scotswood Garden grows and flourishes because all our groups come together in different ways to make a whole - and this walk is no different, it's a collective effort to complete the journey.
Multiple groups will take on different sections of the 30 mile route (with a few full‑route champions tackling the whole 30 miles!)
1. Steel Rigg to Scotswood - 30 miles / 48 km starting at 3am!
2. Steel Rigg to Brocolitia - Nightshades, 13 km / 8 miles
3. Housesteads to Brocolitia Growing Together Garden Volunteers - 9.5 km / 6 miles
4. Brocolitia to Chollerford Growing Together & Woodland Wellbeing - 5 km / 3 miles
