Back in 2021, I decided I wanted to do something to raise money for the wonderful charity RT Minds. I was never going to be able to run a marathon, but I figured I could do an Artathon - 24 hours of art.
It was such a success, we did it again in 2022, and again in 2023. After a two year hiatus (involving other events), the Artathon is back. And this time I won't be alone. I'm going to be joined by my youngest offspring, and together we'll be based at the Open Art Surgery in Gilesgate Durham for 24 hours of intense art creation.
We'll be there starting Friday 14th August over into Saturday 15th August, times to be confirmed.
RT Minds (rtminds.org.uk) is an incredible charity, and I'm proud to be one of the trustees there. Please help us to raise as much as possible, and keep an eye on their facebook page as the final pieces will be available for purchase, with every penny raised from the sales going directly to RT Minds.
Thank you from both of us.
Adam
