Athona Charity of the Year 2026 – Supporting HBA Support

We’re proud to support Hereditary Brain Aneurysm Support (HBA Support) as Athona’s Charity of the Year.

HBA Support is a UK charity dedicated to supporting people and families affected by brain aneurysms, a condition that can have devastating and life-changing consequences. Thousands of families across the UK are impacted each year, often with little warning and limited support.

This partnership is about raising awareness, funding vital patient support, and helping to improve care for those affected. Over the next 12 months, Athona colleagues will be coming together to take on a range of fundraising challenges and events, all with the shared goal of making a real difference.

For many within Athona, this cause is deeply personal. Members of our team have been directly affected by brain aneurysms, and through these experiences we understand the impact this condition can have on individuals, families, and communities. This has created a strong sense of purpose behind our fundraising efforts.

Every donation will help HBA Support to:

• Provide support and guidance to patients and families

• Develop much-needed resources for those navigating diagnosis and recovery

• Raise awareness of brain aneurysms and hereditary risk

• Contribute towards improving care and outcomes
