HBA Support’s 30 FOR 30 Challenge: Warm Clothes 🌟 + Warmer Minds 💖
September was Brain Aneurysm Awareness Month. As a family member on the Hereditary Brain Aneurysm Support's Advisory Panel, this challenge is personal. Although I love and thrive in winter, I've witnessed (through my Mum's lived experience of having a ruptured brain aneurysm in 2020) how brain aneurysm recovery can make the colder, darker months harder. Moreover, cold sensitivity and reduced daylight can potentially worsen mood and depression for many people.
1 in 30 people are estimated to have an unruptured brain aneurysm. I'm taking on HBA Support's 30 FOR 30 Challenge and would urge others to sign up (your challenge can be anything that suits you). I have personally chosen to donate 30 warm clothes to Mind UK charity to help make winter cozy for those who need it most. It's all about raising awareness and saving lives by helping more patients and families!
