On 24–25 October 2026, I’ll be dancing non-stop for an incredible 24 hours and 10 minutes as I attempt to achieve a Guinness World Record, all in memory of my best friend, Kelly, and to raise vital funds for HBA Support.
Kelly and I had been best friends since we were just three years old. She was my biggest supporter throughout my Zumba journey and was there from the very beginning, even though dancing wasn’t really her thing! She always believed in me, encouraged me and cheered me on.
In June 2024, Kelly sadly passed away following a subarachnoid haemorrhage after suffering from severe headaches. She was just 40 years old.
Kelly left behind her father, two sisters, her partner, three children and two young grandchildren, as well as many friends who loved her dearly. Her loss has left an enormous void in all our lives.
I’ve chosen to raise money for HBA Support because I don’t want other families to experience the heartbreak Kelly’s family and friends have endured.
Brain aneurysms and subarachnoid haemorrhages can have a devastating impact, yet awareness and understanding remain limited. HBA Support provides vital information, resources and support for people affected by brain aneurysms and their families.
The challenge will take place in Cambridgeshire, where I’ll be joined by a fantastic team supporting me as we dance through the day and night in Kelly’s honour.
24 hours. 10 minutes. One very special reason. 💜
Every donation will help HBA Support continue supporting patients, survivors and families affected by brain aneurysms.
Thank you for helping me turn the loss of an amazing friend into something positive for others.
For Kelly – my best friend since we were three, my biggest supporter, and forever in our hearts. 💜
