SAVE THE DATE: The Great Get-Together Iftaar will take place on Sunday 14 February 2027, from 3pm-7pm at a new exciting venue, DoubleTree by Hilton, Stadium Way West, Bletchley, Milton Keynes MK1 1ST.

Our annual event brings people of all faiths and backgrounds together, creating a sense of friendship, belonging and community, a space where everyone feels welcomed, valued and connected.

This year, we come together in a spirit of reflection and unity. Our theme is, "One God, One Message, Many Messengers" (La ilaha ill Allah), reminds us of the our shared values of compassion, justice, peace and service that have been carried through generations by God's Messengers.

The Great Get-Together Iftaar is a free community event that welcomes everyone to join Muslims in opening the fast during the blessed month of Ramadan. Through recitation, poetry, storytelling and spoken word, it celebrates the beauty of Islam and brings people of all faiths and backgrounds together in friendship and understanding.

Support the Great Get-Together Iftaar

The event costs around £10,000 which the Trubys Garden team fundraises through donations and in-kind support. We are incredibly grateful to our partners and supporters, and welcome any contribution towards the Iftaar meal (opening of the fast) to help us continue bringing our community together.

Through bringing communities together who do not normally mix, the event seeks to remind us that "we have far more in common than that which divides us".
