I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2020 although with hindsight symptoms were seen a number years earlier without ever identifying the actual cause.
I thought this was the right time to retire as I didn't want to continue under significant pressure as a Consultant Project Manager to major organisations such as BT, BP ,BBC, Sun Microsystems, Network Rail, Lloyds Bank, Barclays Bank, Hewlett Packard, Cable and Wireless, St Ivel and Muller.
Luckily I don't really have any mobility issues but they have taken my diving licence away leaving two motorbike unridden (at the moment) in the garage.
However they cannot stop me going fishing!
I am fortunate in that the Wessex MS Therapy Centre in Warminster is 5 mins walk away, where I go into the oxygen tank every week and occasionally having Pilates and Acupuncture sessions.
