The Junior Apprentice is our flagship accredited business and leadership programme supporting over 120 young people aged 13–19 across London each year. Inspired by The Apprentice, the programme gives young people the opportunity to develop confidence, leadership, creativity, communication, and employability skills through exciting hands-on business challenges and team activities.
Over two and a half intensive weeks, participants work alongside businesses, mentors, and community partners to create ideas, market products, manage budgets, pitch to panels of experts, and develop social action projects in a fun, safe, and inspiring environment. The programme helps young people discover their strengths, build friendships, and gain real-world experience that prepares them for future education, employment, and leadership opportunities.
The impact continues throughout the year with mentoring, workshops, work experience, volunteering, and youth leadership pathways. Young people aged 17+ can also train as mentee youth workers, helping support and inspire the next generation.
Many of the young people we support face barriers including low confidence, limited opportunities, social isolation, and financial hardship.
This fundraiser will help us provide accessible activities, resources, mentoring, trips, prizes, meals, and ongoing support so more young people can take part regardless of their background.
By supporting The Junior Apprentice, you are investing in young people’s futures, helping them grow in confidence, develop valuable life skills, and realise their potential.
