Kita Mai was diagnosed with an aggressive cancerous brain tumour at 14 months old, and suffered a number of operations and treatment for 6 months before finally ringing the bell and celebrating being ‘cancer free’. JUMP childrens charity got in touch to offer a free photoshoot for the whole family, to make everlasting memories and a day of celebration following Kita’s cancer battle. Unfortunately, in August 2025, Kita relapsed and passed away suddenly a month after.
The photographs and memories made through JUMP are even more important now, and allow Kita’s parents to look back at with happiness, often. A very special charity allowing families to relive those smiling moments with their loved ones forever.
Ioan, Luke and Lloyd have decided to take on the Ironman Wales and being three lads who have played for years with Wrexham rugby club and been close to Jay, Ania, Kita and all the family we thought it was only right that we made sure it was for a Kita The Brave!
We will be taking on this challenge on the 13th of September down in Tenby.

Full distance Ironman down in Tenby Wales said to be one of the hardest one day events you can do!
