Running for Anna ❤️
This year I’m running the Great North Run in memory of my mam, Anna.
I lost my mam to mental health when I was 16, so this is something that will always be very close to my heart.
Mental health affects so many people, as well as the families and friends around them. Sadly, I think we all know someone who is struggling with their mental health, whether they talk about it or not, and there still isn’t enough support out there for those who need it.
I wanted to do something positive in my mam’s memory, so I’ll be taking on the Great North Run and raising money for a mental health charity along the way.
It’s definitely going to be a challenge, but I couldn’t think of a better reason to do it.
Any donations, big or small, would mean so much to me and will go towards helping people get the support they need.
This one’s for you mam ❤️
