About

Hi everyone
I foolishly thought that entering the Cambridge Half would be quite easy after having run London.  Funnily enough it appears that the extra 5 years in age more than makes up for the shorter mileage!!
The Kite Trust, previously sexYOUality, has always been a very important charity for the Cambridge Region.  They work tirelessly to support young people, and their families and friends, to work through any challenges that are faced around gender and sexuality.
The statistics for young people and rates of mental illness, bullying, self-harm and suicide are shocking.  Even more so when they relate back to issues of gender and sexuality.
Not every young person is as fortunate to be surrounded by supportive family and friends in their homes and at school and college.  Please help to make a difference to those young people in need by making a donation, however small.
Thank you and all the best
Pete
