I'm leaving St. Simon's and would love to use it as an opportunity to raise money for a cause close to my heart in place of gifts (I kills flowers/plants and certainly don't need any chocolate or alcohol to add to my belly)! This is a tradition of mine which I'd like to continue - This would be far more appreciated than any 'things'.
I've chosen to raise money for the Young Voices Foundation. During my time at St. Simon's I've led three trips to Young Voices with the Choir I founded and I know how much the children benefit from taking part in the event. The Young Voices Foundation are committed to reaching children who would otherwise not have access to high-quality music-making experiences which resonates with me on so many levels. Through music and singing the Young Voices Foundation helps children and young people by:
Giving grants to increase opportunities and experiences.
Developing and delivering music and singing projects.
Delivering projects that support the professional development of leaders and teachers.
Raising funds to support the above work.
Any donations you're able to provide will go to great use and will be hugely appreciated by myself and those who use the Foundation.
Thank you in advance for any pennies you're able to donate.
