I would love it if you could support me doing a zip wire across Twickenham Stadium on 18th October. I am doing this in aid of the wonderful Charity “Parenting Special Children”. This charity is so special to me. It has been an absolute godsend and has allowed me to ‘find my tribe’ at a time when I really needed it.
Every month we go to their Lets Get Creative sessions and not only do the kids get to do arts, crafts, music and drama with other children like them and experienced therapists, but I get to spend 2 hours letting off steam and learning from and with other Parents. It’s such a wonderfully supportive environment for all.
Parenting Special Children empowers families whose children/young people are neurodivergent and/or have special needs and/or disabilities including early life trauma.
They support families, children/young people and professionals directly via a wide range of specialist services.
They hold their families, ensuring no one feels alone in their journey, ‘Prevention before Crisis’.
At Parenting Special Children, the vision is to build a community where every family and every child who is neurodivergent and/or has special needs and/or disabilities including early life trauma, is empowered, supported and no family ever feels alone. They aspire to be a leading force in transforming the local landscape of support services.
