On 22nd May, 4 of us will be jumping out of a perfectly good aeroplane at 15,000ft to raise money for Harmless & The Tomorrow Project, a UK charity focused on suicide prevention and support for those left behind.
To be completely honest… this feels like an incredibly stupid idea.
I’m not great with heights.
I don’t particularly like small planes.
And the thought of voluntarily throwing myself out of one is genuinely terrifying.
For me, this is more than just a charity jump. I lost my big brother Mikee to suicide at age 45, and that loss stays with our family every single
day.
But if doing something that scares me for a few minutes helps raise money for people who are facing far bigger struggles, then it feels like a small price to pay.
