The Companion project has emerged in 2021 to uniquely bring together classic ingredients of bread making, song, and togetherness as a powerful maker of wellbeing and community development. We want your support to take it further and touch the lives and hearts of even more people.

The Companion project has worked to bring together a diverse group of over 60 people so far through 3 weekend festivals. Many of us have some form of learning of physical disability and long term health conditions. Almost all are on low incomes and experience some form of discrimination and isolation The project has worked to get people together and learning how to bake bread: all the whilst singing songs together and making friends. Everyone has the chance to get involved and take responsibility for the work, be it laying a table to encouraging others. Its a really simple recipe which has worked to generate much happiness and positive feedback: "Its like magic" people have said.
We want your support to run the project into 2024, touching the lives of even more people in need. Just £5 will make a difference. A generous donation of £2000 will allow us to run a 3 day festival, affecting the lives of at least 40 people.
