Now more than ever we need your support

Shetland Crofthouse Museum is unique to the Islands in showcasing 19th century life in Shetland. As a historic building, the maintenance costs to ensure the buildings are presented to the highest standard are extremely high.

We are incredibly grateful to the Shetland Islands Council and Shetland Charitable Trust who provide us with financial support to help cover some of our costs.  We rely on the generous support of our visitors, however, to keep the service running, the buildings and collections cared for, respond to enquiries, and to welcome visitors through our doors.

If you can, please support us with a donation - no matter how large or small - to help us continue to care for Shetland's heritage both now and in the future.
