Every year I have my own little charity raising event (last year I shaved my head for Macmillan - scary) and this year I’m doing this fight (scary x2) for Newcastle Women’s Aid, a domestic abuse charity that is committed to giving the women and children of Newcastle a voice and the power to live free from fear. The irony of using a boxing event to support domestic abuse has not escaped me but I feel it is the perfect opportunity to shine a light on the troubles that women and children find themselves in with their everyday lives. What I will experience in a mere 10 minutes cannot compare to what survivors of domestic abuse are forced to put up with and I am so proud to be fighting in support of a wonderful charity that supports them. With that in mind, I would be so incredibly grateful if you would consider donating to a cause that deserves it.
Thank you :)
(p.s. would be totally epic if you clicked on the gift aid button so the charities get more bang for your buck!)
