Guida and I had been friends and business partners for approaching 15 years. Sadly she was murdered by her partner of 4 years, who then took his own life on 31.01.16. They leave a 2 year old daughter. We now know that she had contacted Leeds Women's Aid. 2 women a week are killed at he hands of their partner or ex partner. Leeds Womens aid is a local charity who's aim is to protect women and children from the damage that domestic violence can inflict on their lives. I am planing on doing the Tour du Mont Blanc in September 2017, this is the most popular long ditance trek in Europe, it covers a distance of approximately 160 kms, over 10 days the height gain is in the region of 9000m. It travels through 3 Alpine regions within France, Italy and Switzerland, circumnavigating Mont Blanc
