On 3 May 2027, Jack Barrs will be taking on the Norwich Half Marathon to raise money for Norwich Pride.
Norwich Pride is a very small charity that delivers one of the city's biggest and most vibrant community celebrations. Every year, thousands of people come together to celebrate equality, diversity and inclusion at an event that is completely free to attend.
As a small charity, we rely heavily on fundraising from our local community to make Pride possible. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us continue creating a welcoming and inclusive event for everyone.
Jack is one of six fantastic people who have chosen to support Norwich Pride through this year's Norwich Half Marathon, creating a wonderful team of Pride runners. We're incredibly grateful for their dedication and generosity.
Jack says:
"I'm running for Norwich Pride because Norwich has become my home and Pride is one of my favourite events of the year! For the whole community, I'm supporting Norwich Pride so it can keep on being the fabulous event it is."
We'll be there to cheer Jack and all our Pride runners on every step of the way, and we'll even be hosting a water station to help keep them hydrated along the route.
If you'd like to support Jack's challenge and help Norwich Pride continue delivering this much-loved event, please consider making a donation. Your support truly means the world to us.
