NLive Radio is asking Northampton to show its love for the station that loves Northampton.

After ten years of support from the University of Northampton, the University is withdrawing its funding for NLive Radio. While the station will continue broadcasting, it now needs to transition to become an independent community organisation and build a sustainable future.

To make this possible, we need your support.

The funds raised through this campaign will help establish the new organisation, secure new studio facilities, relocate essential broadcasting equipment, maintain licences, invest in technology and cover the core costs of keeping Northampton's local radio station on air.

Since launching in 2016, NLive Radio has become an important part of community life in Northampton. Broadcasting on 106.9FM, DAB, online, through smart speakers and via mobile apps, the station provides local news, interviews, music, sports, arts and culture programming, while championing local charities, community groups, businesses, public services and events.

Our volunteers help bring Northampton's stories to life, giving a platform to local voices and creating opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to gain skills, confidence and experience in broadcasting, journalism and media production.

We are proud to be The Station That Loves Northampton. We celebrate what makes our town special, support the people and organisations that make a difference, and help communities connect with one another.

We have recently secured a five-year licence extension, allowing us to continue broadcasting until 2031. We have a strong future ahead of us, but we need Northampton's support to get there.
