People often put together a gift list when they get married. I suspect so that they avoid getting 20 new toasters! It’s usually a list of things to help them create a new home or an amazing honeymoon, but we feel very blessed and lucky in our lives already - we have everything that we could want (and more). So, rather than getting gifts for us, we've put together a list of charities we invite you to give wedding gifts to instead. If you wanted to give us something beautiful to treasure, how about donating to Bristol Refugee Rights who give asylum seekers and refugees the welcome and friendship that everyone deserves and treasures? Bristol Refugee Rights support and welcome asylum seekers and refugees in Bristol. From practical support to language lessons, advocacy to information, the Welcome Centre in St Paul’s is a place of refuge and community.
