To continue a year of doing new things, I will be taking on the Twickenham Zipwire in October! I know, crazy! But I will be doing it to fundraise for the wonderful Parenting Special Children.
I first found the charity during Covid and they honestly saved me. The workshops and support during lockdown and then in real life, meeting other adoptive parents who fully understood the difficulties we were under. Thankfully we are now making our way out the other side and what is more, I work for the charity, which is the icing on the cake! So I am doing this to give back, for the love and support PSC has given me and my family.
Please give what you can and you can look forward to seeing me jumping off the top of Twickenham Stadium! Whatever would Ed and Flo say?! Sarah x
Parenting Special Children empowers families whose children/young people are neurodivergent and/or have special needs and/or disabilities including early life trauma.
They support families, children/young people and professionals directly via a wide range of specialist services.
They hold their families, ensuring no one feels alone in their journey, ‘Prevention before Crisis’.
At Parenting Special Children, the vision is to build a community where every family and every child who is neurodivergent and/or has special needs and/or disabilities including early life trauma, is empowered, supported and no family ever feels alone. They aspire to be a leading force in transforming the local landscape of support services.
